Description
The washing machines in air conditioning (AC or HVAC) systems are mainly used to ensure the cleanliness and efficiency of internal components, especially heat exchanger coils, filters, and ducts.
Technical features
Removal of dirt and contaminants
They clean away dust, grease, pollen, organic residues, and other particles deposited on coils and ducts.
They help prevent the growth of mold and bacteria (e.g., Legionella), which could otherwise spread through the air.
Maintaining energy efficiency
Dirt and deposits reduce the heat exchange capacity of coils, forcing compressors and fans to consume more energy.
Washing keeps the system running under optimal conditions with lower power consumption.
Extending equipment lifespan
Regular cleaning reduces corrosion and premature wear of heat exchangers, ductwork, and mechanical parts.
Ensuring comfort and air quality
It prevents bad odors and improves the quality of the air supplied to indoor spaces.
