Description
In AC systems (air conditioning), O-rings are rubber sealing rings (or made of specific elastomeric materials) used to seal the connections between the different components of the refrigeration circuit.
They are essential to ensure that the refrigerant gas and oil remain inside the system, preventing leaks and maintaining the correct pressure.
Technical features

Prevent the escape of refrigerant (R134a, R1234yf, etc.) and lubricating oil.

Also stop air and moisture from entering, which could damage the compressor or cause ice formation.

Absorbing vibrations

Compensate for small movements and vibrations between components (pipes, fittings, compressor, condenser, evaporator).
