Description

In air conditioning (AC) systems, the term spring-lock (or springlock coupling) refers to a type of quick-connect fitting used to join pipes and components in the refrigerant circuit, especially in the high- and low-pressure lines of automotive A/C or HVAC systems.

Technical features

Purpose:

  • Ensures an airtight seal in the refrigerant circuit (R134a, R1234yf, etc.), preventing leaks.

  • Allows for fast assembly and disassembly during maintenance or component replacement (compressor, condenser, evaporator).

  • Provides resistance to pressure and vibration typical of AC systems.
